Army Lists
Just a quick reminder to everyone that I would like to receive army lists submitted to me ahead of the the event.  Please submit army lists no later than Oct 31!  The army lists will be reviewed and checked for “legality”.  Anyone who submits their lists by October 31 will receive a 2 point bonus added to their overall score.

You can send your lists to me through Private Messaging at the AWC forums or via email: toyman_1971 AT yahoo.com (replace ‘AT’ with ‘@’)

T-Shirt Update
If anyone is interested in reserving an event t-shirt, contact me via PM at AWC or email (see above) and I’ll try to hold one for you.  I have a few shirts in sizes XL, XXL, and XXXL available still.

Annoucement (Sept 21, 2011):

Two scenarios were playtested at the Chicago Battle Bunker.  These scenarios are available now for download so that all players that were not able to attend the mini-primer can review them.

Come Celebrate the Anniversary of Bilbo’s Eleventy-First Birthday!!

Nov 5-6, 2011 at the Games Workshop Chicago Battle Bunker

$20 Pre-Registration by October 2. ($30 after pre-registration closes).

Bilbo’s Birthday Bash (BBB or B3 for short) is a Lord of the Rings: Strategy Battle Game Indy GT style event. Players will play 5 Games played over a 2 day event using 600 point armies (as constructed using the rules from Legions of Middle Earth).

Bilbo’s Birthday Bash 2011 is part of the Official 2011-2012 Games-Workshop North America Tournament Circuit.  This means there are some new additions available to the previous prize pool.  The Top 3 overall winners will receive Virtual Gift Vouchers ($150, $100, and $50).  In addition to an invitation to the 2012 Throne of Skulls Grand Tournament in Memphis, TN will be issued to the Overall winner.   As in previous years, there will be plenty more prize support for the attendees.
